Noakes is brilliant

Inspired virtuoso performances

Anna Noakes’ timbre and natural feeling for a phrase are very winning… The disc includes flowing, coolly beautiful Fauré (meltingly phrased by Anna Noakes)

Gabriella Dall’Olio has a superb technique and an acute sense of rhythm… and she reaches such fine colours and nuances which bring to her harp a poetic dimension

The concert was a very special experience… Gabriella Dall’Olio showed with the beautiful sounds of her harp, not only her instrumental virtuosity but also an exceptional sensitivity in accompanying… the audience would not accept that the concert had finished and demanded more and more encores.

The concert at the Cutty Sark was a magnificent exhibition of musical spontaneity and enjoyment. The playing was both intuitive and insightful across an eclectic spectrum of musical styles and genres. Anna and Gabriella managed to find a perfect balance between relaxed and light-hearted music making and highly serious and committed playing. Wonderful!

The unique personalities of Anna and Gabriella shone through like a rainbow of colours at their Cutty Sark concert ‘Beyond the Sea’.
